Good day to you. My name is Mike Jameson.
I grew up in Southhampton, England where, at the young age of 15,
I started my City and Guilds Apprenticeship UK. Crikey, that was 1979. On August 20, 1983 I received my journeyman
papers and started serious work in the trade, including 10 months in the
Channel Islands.
In 1988 I made the big move to Canada and settled in London Ontario.
By 1994 I had earned my Canadian Steam Fitting certificate, and
soon after in 1996 I decided to start up my own company called London Mobile
Welding (LMW). I continued my education
earning a petroleum mechanics license and acquiring numerous welding
procedures.
I successfully ran LMW until 2006 at which time I decided to take
a hiatus from being a small business owner.
But the bug caught me again and by 2010 I had started up again, this
time calling myself Jameson Mechanical.
In 2012 my wife and I purchased 29 acres a mere 15 minutes south east of London Ontario. I operate Jameson Mechanical from a shop located on our property servicing clients across Southwestern Ontario.
At Jameson Mechanical we maintain a high standard of quality control
always striving to ‘weld it once’. We
pride ourselves on providing a high quality of service to our customers, and to
keep them cognizant of current guide lines and safety bulletins.
